News broke on Tuesday afternoon that the Somali terrorist group Al-Shabaab attacked the 14 Riverside Drive Dusit Hotel.

While the police quickly responded to the attack, evacuating about 700 people, several others were reported injured and dead.

An eyewitness has shared his experience with CNBC Africa, revealing that the country’s security operatives responded “quite fast.”
