Professor Osinbajo stated this during the continuation of his door-to-door campaign in Ondo state.
The vice president, who was accompanied by the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, met with Àkokó monarchs at the palaces of Olukare of Ìkàré-Akoko, Oba Akadiri Momoh, Olufon of Ifon, Oba Israel Adeusi and the Olowo of Òwò, Oba Folagbade Olateru-Olagbegi, all in Ondo north senatorial district of the state.
He said corruption has eaten deep into the nation’s economy in the last sixteen years of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)- led administration.
Professor Osinbajo maintained that infrastructure deficit would have been a thing of the past if past administrations had not diverted national resources for personal use.
He, therefore, urged the electorate across the state to vote for the truthfulness of President Muhammad Buhari in the February 16 elections.
He rounded-up the visit to the state with a town hall meeting in Owo.
